LiDARpoint clouds

LiDAR and point-cloud processing

Classification, feature extraction and thematic point-cloud processing for engineering tasks.

We process airborne, mobile and terrestrial laser-scanning data. We classify point clouds, extract features and prepare deliverables to client specifications.

The workflow is sequential: we check the ground model, separate meaningful classes and manually review doubtful areas. Final control stays with a human processor.

The task

Prepare a point cloud for engineering analysis: separate the ground surface and relevant objects, align classification with project requirements and make the result practical for downstream work.

Input data

We accept airborne, mobile or terrestrial laser-scanning data, the required class system, project boundaries and delivery requirements. Before work starts, we check the file set and clarify completion criteria.

Workflow

  1. Check the source data and agree classes, boundaries and output format.
  2. Build or correct the ground model, classify the cloud and extract relevant objects.
  3. Review doubtful areas manually and prepare the agreed delivery package.

Deliverables

We deliver a classified point cloud and, when included in the task, derived models or vector data. The exact classes, formats and accompanying files are fixed before processing begins.

Quality control

We check coverage completeness, class consistency and difficult terrain or object intersections. Automation accelerates initial processing, while a specialist performs the final review.
